Oriens

Oriens is a chilled out game that I made for my first solo game jam. It's a little game about keeping a small town's inhabitants happy, and therefore healthy. Draw bridges to connect the houses and watch your very own water-town unfold...

The way it works is that each house has its own two metres - red for health, and green for happiness. You start with 15% happiness and it quickly decreases. So does your health. They are linked. By joining houses you increases their happiness percentages, therefore stopping the health lowering. Your aim is to get every house to 100% happiness by connecting as many different houses as possible.  At this point it is "safe" and its values won't decrease.

Also, you start with 100 units of bridge, which gets used up as you place bridges. Deleting bridges regains bridge length. For every house over 25% happiness, you gain bridges back over time.
